Lots more problems for Mitt Romney. A former employee gave Mother Jones magazine old film clips of Romney talking about Bain Capital and its strategy for draining its acquisitions in order to generate profit. In the videos Romney refers to the process of laying off workers and selling off assets as “harvesting the companies.”
There is no reference of creating jobs. Just the opposite, Bain wanted to lay off and fire workers to force up stock value.
The truth of the matter is that Mitt Romney started with a million dollar bankroll from his father and spent a lifetime making himself fabulously wealthy without doing anything of social value. It is a wasted life that he wants to cap off as President of the United States.
How is it a person can have elevators for his cars, keep his fortune in the Cayman Islands and Zurich, have the ability to fund his own campaign, and get all that without doing anything of value for the society or country?
