Paul Ryan will look good by traditional standards for a day or a week. He is smart, young, good-looking, and articulate. But he has severe downsides. He has put forward a budget that cuts and burns the middle class. He would turn Medicare and Medicaid into private vouchers. His budget proposal is the classic Rightwing Romneyhood, taking from the poor and middle class and given to the rich. Ryan has a record to run against.
Besides, I can’t decide if Romney and Ryan look like. Beaver’s dad and Wally or Father knows best.
Ryan is from Wisconsin and as such was part of the assault on union members.
