The Washington Post shows that President Obama with 51% approval – over 50% for the first time since the campaign began. A Politico poll shows President Obama with a statistically insignificant lead of 1%. Still Obama is, for the first time, now above 50% on overall performance and the economy.
ROMNEY CANNOT WIN WITHOUT OHIO AND PRESIDENT OBAMA HOLDS A LEAD IN OHIO.
The race is as tight as a tick on a bluetick hound in Virginia and Florida.
For some of us, it seems unusual that Obama could carry Virginia.
President Obama must hit Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security in Florida. President Obama and VP Biden cannot let Romney-Ryan get away with a plan to privatize Social Security, voucherize Medicare, and turn Medicaid into state block grants.
Though the election is tightening, there is much good news for President Obama. It is almost impossible for Romney to win without all three of these states and these states are so tight.
Of course, the town hall debate tomorrow is critical. Look for President Obama to hit the 47% comment from Romney hard where Romney said that 47% of the American people take no responsibility for their lives. Look also for the President to work hard to keep Romney honest. And look for President Obama to hit hard Romney’s commitment to cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
