The Great Blue Heron always aware, sees
Always calm, a present of life and peace
She feeds herself and hers one calm step
At a time and one lightning strike at a time
Never hurried, ruffled, or without
She wades through her day majestic
Her dignity, her badge, her beauty, her gift.
